Hi, I’m Donna. I'm a wife, mom, encourager, and now the proud author of my very first book, He Is the Vine: From the Vineyard to the Tasting Room. I’ve learned that life is a lot like a vineyard. Sometimes you’re waiting for fruit, sometimes you’re being pruned, and sometimes you just need to savor the sweetness of the harvest (preferably with friends, laughter, and maybe dessert). I spend my days serving alongside my husband, Eddie, in marriage ministry. When I'm not doing that, I'm welcoming people with big smiles on the First Impressions team at church, and gathering friends around tables filled with good food and even better conversation. I love planning creative get-togethers, exploring new places, and finding beauty in the little things; like a shared story, a spark of hope, or a perfectly timed cup of coffee. More than anything, my greatest joy is pointing people back to Jesus, the True Vine, who brings life, growth, and lasting fruit. Writing He Is the Vine has definitely been a labor of love to say the least, and now I see it as an invitation. Not just to read a book, but to join me in a journey of faith, growth, and joy. So pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass (coffee, tea, or Merlot; your choice!), and let’s walk this vineyard road together.

These memoirs were written as a means to introduce you to the people that Jesus surrounded Himself with; the people He did life with. It is written from a perspective that I would like to think was how Jesus saw each of them. Take a journey with me through the New Testament and allow me to introduce you to the individuals that literally walked with Him and to some that while He may never have physically known them, He always saw them, so that you can get a glimpse of the life of the characters in the New Testament. Use these as you read and study the Bible to get a feel for each person and how their lives were impacted when they chose to follow Jesus.
